Continuing Education Credits

Continuing education (CE) credits for will be available for the Project Firstline training series when all six modules are released. You must successfully complete all six modules in the series to qualify for the credits. CE credits for two contact hours will be offered through the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and also as a two-contact hour Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) certificate.

CNE Certificate

CNE credits are for RNs who have an active license to practice, and who have completed a master's or doctoral degree in nursing.

Washington State residents: Professionals who wish to receive a two-contact hour CNE certificate must 1) complete all course requirements and 2) login/create an account at https://learning.nursing.uw.edu/ to print their certificate. Instructions for registering for contact hours will be provided upon completion of the activity. Please email nwcphp@uw.edu to receive the instructions. After registering you may access your records for at least six years and reprint the certificate as often as you wish.

Non-Washington State residents: Professionals who wish to receive a two-contact hour CNE certificate must 1) complete all course requirements and 2) login/create an account at https://learning.nursing.uw.edu/ after completing the activity and pay a recordkeeping fee of $45 (VISA or Mastercard in US Funds). You will be able to print your own certificate online and have access to your records online for at least six years. Washington State DSHS Continuing Education Certificate

A certificate for two course hours is available for long-term care workers in Washington state who complete all six modules.
