Continuing Education Credits
Continuing education (CE) credits are available for the Project Firstline training series. You must successfully complete modules 1-6 (by passing each end of module quiz with a score of at least 80%) in the series to qualify for the credits. CE credits of .5 contact hours each are now also available for Module 7 and Module 8. CE credits are offered through the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and also the Oregon Nurses Association.
Washington State DSHS Continuing Education Certificate
A certificate for two course hours is available for long-term care workers in Washington state who complete modules 1-6.
Individual CE certificates for .5 contact hours are available from Washington State DSHS at the end of modules 7 and 8 for individuals who complete those modules.
CNE Certificate
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by Oregon Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
Participants can earn two nursing contact hours by completing modules 1-6 and .5 contact hours each for completing modules 7 and 8.
To obtain a nursing contact hour CE certificate for modules 1-6, the learner must complete the following criteria:
- Enroll in Modules 1-6 Series Continuing Education Certificates
- Enroll in and complete the training content for each of modules 1-6
- Pass the test at the end of each module with a score of 80% or higher
- Participants who successfully complete the above requirements will receive a CNE CE certificate for 2 contact hours on the Modules 1-6 Series Continuing Education Certificates page.

To obtain a nursing contact hour CE certificate for module 7 or 8, the learner must complete the following criteria:
- Enroll in and complete the training content for module 7 or module 8
- Pass the test at the end of the module with a score of 80% or higher
- Participants who successfully complete the above requirements for modules 7 or 8 will receive a CNE CE certificate for .5 contact hours on the Certificate of Completion page of that module.
